Helen Alexander is always happy
ongoing challenge of each picture that she begins and
takes great pride when someone is drawn to the  is

Helen is a mental health counselor who discovered the
importance of "non-verbal" expression in her work with
clients.  She frequently employed drawing and painting
as a part of her work with individuals.  Retired from
learning and doing art.  Her art education has been
number of artists who have worked in many styles and multiple mediums.  She continues to
learn from her peers who are members of the Salado Village Artists and Bell Fine Arts.  She give
credit to this group of artists for encouragement, instruction, and invaluable critiquing.

Acrylic and oil are her preferred mediums.  She also works with watercolor and dabbles in
collage.  There are so many pictures that beg to be painted that subject selection can become
the most difficult of decisions.
