| PAINTING, PAINTING, PAINTING This class will explore a variety of media and design applications. Discover new tools. Try something different. Get the kinks out if you are returning to art or perfect your talents. Sign up for 6 weeks of classes. Each week concentrates on different painting technique or skill so you do not have to take them in consecutive order. If you are in town for only one day you make sign up for one 2 hour class. All levels welcome. Thursday evenings 6:30 to 8:30 Cost $180 for six weeks Cost $ 40 for one Tuesday |
| Oil Painting: Intuitive Expression with Shannon Dean Through this workshop, painters of all levels will awaken their creativity as they discover the joy of painting with oils. Intuitive painting encourages self expression through color and shape and provides therapeutic stress relief. Unlike regular art classes and workshops, there is no emphasis on product, technique or criticism. You will be provided with tools to move beyond the inner critic, boredom, fear, and perfectionism to re-discover the wonder and freedom of the creative process. To quote Georgia O’Keefe: “ I found I could say things with color and shape that I couldn’t say any other way.” |
